What are the Types of Bidding Available?

The Bidding options are available when you create a new campaign or edit an existing one. The system provides the following bidding options:

  • Manual Bidding: Manual bidding allows defined bids up to the Ad Group level. If you do not select any option, then Manual Bidding is considered as default.
  • Automatic Bidding: The system will automatically set bids using historic performance. When you create a new campaign, the system expects you to configure bids at an Ad Group level. Auto bidding will start once the system gathers enough performance data for the campaign. The Goal set for the campaign assists the system in optimizing the bids. Supply targeting parameters are considered while setting up the bids (For example, Location, Device, Browser, PIS, SPID, SSPID, Domain).
